Maryland Foreclosure Task Force (2011)

The Maryland Foreclosure Task Force was appointed by Governor O’Malley to make recommendations for effective foreclosure prevention through loss mitigation, counseling networks, and community outreach as well as explore areas in which certain efficiencies are needed to restore communities and the overall health of the market. The task force is chaired by the Secretaries of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR) and Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), and includes members from the judiciary, legislature, local governments and representatives from the private sector.
